“NADIE SABE” by Ivonne Galaz. A hit that’s helping Latinx LGBTQ+ youth find shelter
Many Latinx LGBTQ+ Youth experience homelessness just for being who they are.
To bring awareness about this issue, we leveraged a strong musical genre like “corridos”, which is known for its storytelling but also for its sexist and homophobic content, to give visibility to those who have been kicked out of corridos (Meaning being kicked out in English).
We partnered with Ivonne Galaz, the first LGBTQ+ artist to sing corridos tumbados, to launch “NADIE SABE” (In English Nobody Knows)

A moving tune in which she captured the sentiment of doubt, uncertainty, and fear about not being able to disclose her identity from a highly isolated perspective.
